Treatments
This is an awareness program. It is designed to bring your unhealthy attitudes and behaviors to your awareness. Understanding these insights allow you to challenge irrational thoughts, which create negative attitudes, motivate irresponsible, manipulative, and illegal behaviors. It is common to feel uncomfortable. Change is uncomfortable. However, "Change is the ONLY Constant. It is also common to confuse the uncomfortable feelings that change brings with a negative environment. If changing your habits, character and lifestyle were so easy, why wait and return back to prison. Change Now. We promote God, right living and encourages change in your attitudes and behaviors. You will be expected to actively participate in your treatment. Your treatment will consist of these components.

Our sense of spirituality and goodwill Will support and motivate both the individual and the fellowship, in hope that the pains and fears, which we have experienced toward others, will soon diminish and heal.

We, the family of the Second Chance for New Beginnings have chosen to sacrifice our old ways for a new beginnings, putting forth the initiative to change our beliefs, attitude and behavors. By redefining "healthy values" we hope to gain the knowledge and ·wisdom that will result in a better understanding and a brighter tomorrow.
We believe that today we will find the courage to take a healthy risk and accept change; moreover, to welcome it, to examine our past in the hope of establishing a better future.
We have pledged to come together in one accord in the hope of discovering our significance, and to return to our families and communities with a greater appreciation of our self-worth.
The past is history the future is a mystery. This day is now, which is why it is called the present. It is up to us to utilize this day to prepare ourselvesfor the mystery that lies ahead.
With active thinking and right living, all our dreams are within our grasp.

PHILOSOPHY
We have come to accept responsibility for our emotions and behavior. All of us have disappointed loved ones. We have also disappointed ourselves. We all know what it is like to feel afraid, hurt, helpless, lonely and ashamed.
Perhaps the greatest agony we must overcome is the realization that we have done this to ourselves.
As a result I need your help. I need your awareness to gain insight that has eluded me in the past. I need the "Lighthouse" to illuminate my issues so I can begin to be the healthy person I long to be.
I must stand up for myself with courage, hope and perseverance. This is real. This is life; my life, your life, our life.
